In response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, The Rotary Foundation has created a channel for members to contribute funds
to support relief efforts

At this point, the Board has not decided to donate, and will leave it up to members to make their own donation if they so wish.

Additionally shelter box is responding to the Ukraine.  Following is a letter to all Rotarians from Shelter Box.
Dear Rotarians

As you are aware, ShelterBox is responding is Ukraine. We currently have a team in Poland liaising with Rotary and Rotaract leadership and members in the region to coordinate information and better understand the situation.

We are preparing items like mattresses for people living in schools and collection centres in Western Ukraine.

We are also planning aid packages or shelter repair kits with tools and rope, hygiene kits, solar lights and water carriers to help people survive as they are forced to live in damaged buildings.

People who have become refugees are not able to carry much so ShelterBox is providing essential items they can take with them, such as hygiene items and warm winter jackets.

Included is the link to a video clip for sharing at club level or in any communications. It’s 1:05 minutes and is direct from the train station in Poland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM758xbJWng
