The District Governers in New Zealand have a fantastic initiative to support struggling families during Winter. Cans for a cause will support various foodbanks and our national goal is to collect one million cans of food between 9th and 16th of June.
As a Club, we are asking members to consider donating a few cans of food. We will provide a couple of baskets at the meeting on the 10th of June. Food suitable for the cause could include legumes, baked beans, fruit, chopped tomatoes and spaghetti.
Proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army and Kiwi Harvest.
