Esther Whitehead, co-founder of Sustainable Queenstown, spoke at our final meeting for 2018. The recipient of the proceeds from the 2018 Duck Race, these funds were put to the running costs of a vehicle purchased to distribute surplus unsold food from supermarkets to needy families in Queenstown. "We've made it our job to make sure that good food gets to hungry people or people who are struggling" Esther iterated. She invited those available to give a morning a month to "pick up food and distribute it with us".
