On 8 September our (immediate) Past President provided a 5 minute talk about the COVID experience in Uganda and the NZ contribution made by their charity ‘Fountain of Peace’ in supporting some 400 needy families with basic needs including beans, flour and soap. This Fountain of Peace initiative was the first of its type into a school community in Uganda. Their organisation was recognised and thanked for their initiative by the local community leadership.
