President's Update
member photo
With Changeover part one taking place this Tuesday, it signifies the end of my year as President.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my involvement getting to know our members and learning more about my local community.

The task of President was made easier with the help of my committee. Lee-Ann has been a lifesaver and her efforts help the Club function.
Grant and Keith have offered much-needed guidance and support.
Thank you to Richard, Stuart, David, Tim, Gabrielle, and Hamish for their efforts during the year.

Thanks to all Club members for your support and commitment.
I wish Ross all the best for next year.

ROTARY QUEENSTOWN CHANGEOVER ( PART ONE)

Please don't forget to save the date - 18 June, for changeover PART 1

Changeover PART 2 will occur on the 30th of July. We have special invited guests coming a few awards to give out.

Your invitation for Changeover Part 1 is attached below with RSVP info on it.

In case you are unaware why there is a 2 part changeover, it is because President Neil is off overseas straight after changeover on the 18th June and President-Elect Ross Beal is in Uganda at this time.  Ross returns in early July and the 30th July is next appropriate date for completing Changeover.

IPP Grant, Tim and Stuart will be running the various meetings until July 30th.

Many thanks, and please RSVP asap for next Tuesday so I can let the restaurant know.

SOCIAL OUTING FOR THE CARE CENTRE AT THE SKYLINE

On Tuesday the 14th of June, thirteen members from the Care Centre had the opportunity to ride the gondola and enjoy a buffet lunch.

With the club's support and the support staff, the outing was enjoyed by all.

NEIL's FINAL NIGHT - 18 JUNE
With Ross & Rosanna being away in Uganda on the date of our previously scheduled Changeover Night, plus Neil and Jillian also being away overseas from 2 July to early September, our Changeover Function has had to be changed.

Neil will be presenting his final report, with awards, on Tuesday 18 June at our normal Holiday Inn venue.  Partners will be most welcome, and invitations will be sent out shortly.

Past President Grant Rees will complete the changeover to Ross on 30 July after the Beal’s return.

ROTARACT NEWS
The Central Lakes Rotaract Club completed their 1st project last Sunday 26 May - delivering firewood to those in need in our community.

The wood was provided by Mana Tahuna.  The amazing Michael Sly https://www.wilding.co/, and extra hands from the Kiwi Kit Community Trust, made this is a real collaboration of service.

Over 50 cubic meters was delivered to 11 households.

The next project is a working bee at Happiness House this coming weekend.
