President's Update

We were hosted by the Queenstown Country Club for Last Week’s meeting.
Mark Austin gave an enthralling talk on his Mt Everest adventures. You have to admire the courage skill and perseverance of the men and woman who aspire to climb and conquer the world’s highest mountains.
District Governor, Phill Gully will be meeting with the Board prior to this Tuesday’s meeting and will address the Club at the meeting itself. Phill will give the Club an update on current District and Rotary International issues and it would be great to have as many Club members present as possible.
Remember the Duck race to be held on October 29 needs support from Club members with the recipient being  KiwiHarvest.

DG PHIL GULLY VISIT - 3 OCTOBER

Mark your calendar.  Coming up on 3 October District Governor Phil Gully, from the Rotary Club of Whakatu, will visit our club.  Let’s try and buck the current downward attendance trend and have a big turnout on this night.  The 3rd would ordinarily be an off-site meeting date.  The off-site meeting will be the week following, on 10 October.
