Changeover is a special night on our Rotary calendar and is where Club Presidents, and their Boards, change hands to a new incoming team. This dinner event on 28 June was well supported by club members and guests.

The photos below depict the changeover from President Jason Climo to Grant Rees and the various well-earned club awards presented to well deserving recipients.

A highlight of the night was the presentation of a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) award to Wakatipu High School Principal, Steve Hall. Steve’s remarkable outdoor pursuits background, prior to his role as Wakatipu High School Principal, was outlined including Outward Bound. His has been a career committed to helping people achieve their maximum potential around NZ, including families who don’t have the means to have their children attend Outward Bound. At Wakatipu High School Steve has led the transition from the old to the new school and changes to the teaching environment.  Steve’s life to date exemplifies the humanitarian and educational objectives of the Rotary Foundation. We are proud to have Steve as our most recent PHF Fellow.
