P.E. MONICA'S MESSAGE
Please start on your project for next year early so that we do not have a rush of project completions at year end. This is especially important where your project involves a Tuesday evening. Tuesday evenings will be allocated on a first come first serve basis! Russell will be the keeper of the calendar.

Could people please put out feelers amongst their friends and acquaintances to see if anybody has a suitable property for Happiness House to move to. They have to vacate their existing premises by Oct 2018. We are hoping to put together a joint services committee with Inner Wheel and Lions to help them with the move.

Please forward the names and emails of people you know who might want to be "Friends of Rotary" and take part in our various community projects and come to the meeting occasionally when we have interesting speakers.

GUEST SPEAKER 18TH APRIL
Many thanks to Inner Wheel President, Allysandra Skerrett,  who stepped in at the last moment. Unfortunately our scheduled speaker, Champion snowboarder, Finn Duffy, had been injured at rugby. We wish him a speedy recovery in time for the snow season.

Allysandra gave an interesting talk on how Inner Wheel was founded, and her own extensive background with Inner Wheel.
POPPY DAY COLLECTION was a great success as usual. Thanks to Geoff Dalzell for the organisation and all the volunteers.

2017-2018 THEME ANNOUNCED
RI President-elect Ian H.S. Riseley (Australia)has announced the 2017-2018 Rotary  theme, Rotary: Making a Difference. “Whether we’re building a new playground or a new school, improving medical care or sanitation, training conflict mediators or midwives, we know that the work we do will change people’s lives — in ways large and small — for the better.” READ MORE HERE
