Queenstown Rotary combined with Queenstown Inner Wheel to provide traffic management and other duties for the 2016 Queenstown Marathon.
The proceeds of $5,000 went to fund the running costs of the car for the Wakatipu based Hospice Southland palliative care nurse. The palliative care nurse supports patients in their homes within the Wakatipu so that they don’t have to spend more time away in the hospice facility in Invercargill.
The nurse’s car now has both the Rotary & Inner Wheel logos displayed on its rear.
