Our first meeting for 2018 combined a walk around the Queenstown Golf Course Track followed by a BBQ provided by the Wakatipu Yacht Club.  We were able to see the young yacht club members in action practising for the National BIC Regatta and see the Rescue Tender that we largely contributed too.  We were also privileged to have Sir Russell Coutts join and talk to our gathering for a short time acknowledging our support to the Wakatipu Yacht Club and Sailing New Zealand.

At our meeting on 24th January we received a tremendous presentation from our recently returned Rotary Youth Exchange Student Jasmine Sowerby.  Jasmine has recently returned from her year away in Germany.

30th January, Darren Rewi gave us a great insight of Maori in general and the Wakatipu in particular.
