We are delighted that Ross Beal has agreed to be our current Presidential Nominee and our Club President for 2019-20.

Ross has been a member of Queenstown Rotary for approximately a year having earlier served in the Invercargill South club for 11 years.  He has acted in the capacity of our Secretary for periods during Chris Taylor’s absence.

Ross has served all of his working life in the electrical industry.  Apart from having his own business and managing several others, Ross has served as a Director of ‘The Skills’ organisation, a large Industry Training Organisation (ITO) in N.Z. serving the electrical industry, and is currently serving as a Director on the Board of N.Z. Master Electricians.  He is also a director of a large electrical company in Southland.

Ross has also served ‘Cycling Southland’ including leading the organisation as its Chair through substantial change (1997 to 1999).

Of note Ross, and his wife Rosanna, have their own children’s charity “The Fountain of Peace Children’s Foundation N.Z.”  Their charity is supporting the health and education of village children in a part of Uganda, including building homes.

Ross and Rosanna have 2 grown up daughters.

We look forward to Ross’s leadership during 2019-20.
